AP Seminar*, AP Psychology*, AP Economics, Gr 11 American Literature*, Gr 6-10 Literature and Writing
Seminar style – I use Socratic Seminar along with direct instruction to conduct inquiry, inspired by the St. John’s College model of education.
Debate and Public Speaking Program – I developed Tbilisi Debate Camp, the only event of its kind in the Caucasus, and networked with top debate coaches worldwide.
Model UN director – I was trained in the Hague THIMUN, led student delegations there, as well as CGS Athens, AIS Budapest, Hisar Istanbul Middle School. I began the only “Mini-MUN” conference for middle school in Tbilisi and mentored students to run the conference.
Outdoor Education – I scouted and led three full week adventure trips in the Caucasus, planned camping trips for 100 people, and started an orienteering club.
Social Work. I helped a wide variety of clients – FASD, high risk to re-offend program, autism spectrum, brain injury rehabilitation, various mental illnesses.
Cross Cultural. I grew up overseas in Bogota, Colombia, travelled widely, and currently live in the cultural crossroads of Georgia.
Service Work. I volunteered on archaeological digs in Georgia and Israel, sung in choirs, served as a board member at an Anglican church, organized classical music house concerts, and worked with boys clubs in the inner city.
